I know. September. Not quite summer, not quite autumn. Nights starting to draw in a little, a bit of a chill in the air, not quite warm enough to sit in a park of an evening but too nice to rush home.
All in all, the perfect time of year for evening walking. And you know what looks fabulous in the descending twilight? London does.
I’ve put together a schedule of guided walks for every weekday evening (Fridays excepted) for the rest of September setting off at 6.30 pm, starting and finishing near central Tube stations and designed to have you on your way home by 8.00 pm. Costs much less than that “avoid the rush hour” round of drinks after work, yet equally sociable, considerably healthier and, you never know, you might just pick up a little snippet along the way that helps you win the next pub quiz!
Full schedule and synopses of the walks are here and the booking page is here. Or why not get a group of friends together and make an evening of it? (Contact me here to ask about group discounts before booking).
So, this September, instead of fighting your way through the rush hour hordes, why not join me for an early evening stroll around London and learn a little more about your great city on your way home?
I hope to see you on one of the walks!
