 History of London for Kids!

history for kids

Looking for a fun and educational activity that will get the kids outdoors and burn a bit of their energy at the same time? Then look no further!

The walk is designed specifically for children aged 9-13 and visits locations relevant to subjects featured in the Key Stage 2 Primary history curriculum – invasion and settlement (Romans, Saxons, Vikings, Normans), The Great Plague, The Great Fire of London, Victorian London and The Blitz – and is designed to bring those subjects to life in a fun, immersive and interactive way.  The adults seem to like it too, though! (testimonials from happy customers here and here).

It starts next to Tower Hill underground station at finishes on the 1 New Change Balcony (next to St Paul’s Cathedral and underground station) and takes around two hours.

I generally only run this this walk by request as a private booking.  Cost is £12 per adult and £9 per child, or £35 for a group of four (2 adults and 2 children), but please bear in mind my minimum charge for a private booking of this walk is £105 (i.e. equivalent to and allows for up to three groups of four).

Please note that all children on the walk must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Please contact me if you would like to enquire about organising this walk for a group of friends and family, I look forward to hearing from you!
